Creating a more streamlined ecommerce experience
Annalee Dolls have been a tradition since 1934. The unique designs have warmed the hearts of families and collectors for generations. We have been working with Annalee Dolls since 2015 and have helped them to grow their online sales 380% in the past five years. Our team has been providing a combination of tactical marketing strategy along with consistent website system enhancements to help them continue to achieve these results with their WordPress / WooCommerce website application.

Mobile Design Improving Conversion and Revenue
This is the third iteration of the Annalee Dolls website, in this latest build of the website that we completed in middle of 2019 we made some massive improvements to the site deliverability in terms of load speed as well as the mobile site presentation. Both of these changes together over the past year have resulted in a mobile conversion rate increase of 25%, an overall revenue increase of 85% and overall site load time speed increased by 15%!

Inventory Management & Fulfillment
With the ever increasing order count volume we have been producing over the past five years there needed to be a backbone in place to properly handle the increased complexity and volume of logistics in keeping track of all this data. Annalee selected to work with Acctivate as their CRM and Inventory management program early on in our engagement with them. The only problem was that there really wasn’t a great out of the box integration solution for WooCommerce. So we built one. For the past 4 years we have been maintaining and evolving our own custom build Acctivate connector for WooCommerce and it has been working excellent for them.

Bari Life originally converted from Magento to WooCommerce in late 2017 when the wellness company first engaged our team for help with some clean up on its freshly migrated website. After working with the site for all of 2018 and half of 2019, it became clear that it would be necessary to build and implement a new WordPress theme site in order to increase sales and traffic growth. The primary goals for the redesign were to make the site easier to work with day to day, quicker to load, easier to support, and convert more revenue.

The FirstTracks team got to work planning, designing, building, and implementing a whole new theme framework for the Bari Life website. This new design features a much lighter, sleeker, and professional tone. Since launching in January 2020, the results have been fantastic. Overall website sales are up 20% year over year. Mobile device conversion rates are up 60%, which has lead to an increase in revenue from mobile of just over 50%.

Ellevet Sciences had an aggressive goal to increase online sales by 45%! Not only that they wanted to be setup for further scaling and extension into global markets as well. So our design and development teams went to work on planning out a whole new theme framework. The new design features a light, clean, crisp and airy feel to it. We also incorporated a clever “shop by concern” feature on the homepage of the site. This makes it very simple for a new user to find the products that are best for their pet.

WooCommerce Memberships & Subscription Enhancements
There was a lot of care and attention to detail paid to the product details layout and design. We wanted to make sure it was more immediately obvious what the options for their products are. The stock setup for WooCommerce subscription products is a bit on the clunky side. You will notice right away all the visual improvements we made to how your can select all your options. Another major element to this part of the redesign was the responsive mobile layout. Using these new features on your phone is quick, intuitive and simple. These improvements have been a big contributor to their amazing growth so far this year.

Complete redesign and e-commerce enhancements for subscription service
Renee M. Powers is the creator of the Feminist Book Club. A unique subscription box service built on WordPress and WooCommerce. FBC is about brining together intersectional feminist readers to fuck up systems of oppression since 2018 (in their own words). This was a website we were very excited to redesign! Bold presentation elements, lots of color and flair and exciting subject matter. Beyond the design we also had work to do on the back end to improve how the subscription system worked. Our aim was to make purchasing easier and fulfillment smoother and simpler for the team at FBC.

Bold new WordPress / WooCommerce website design
The old Feminist Book Club website was running on a very old version of the thesis framework. This had a very limited series of features for them to work with which needed to change. Our design team worked with FBC to develop a new bold look and feel that took a lot of cues from their actual subscription boxes. We couldn’t be happier with the final product. The site is bold, brash and and definitely in your face, but easy on the eyes and quick to figure out.

Improving mobile experience and tracking
The new site went live in February 2021 and has delivered the goods:

- Ecommerce revenues 100% year over year.
- Mobile ecommerce conversion rate average of 2.85%.
- Desktop conversion rate is averaging 13%!
- Traffic and new users and sessions are all up about 80%
- Excellent responsive programming combined with exceptional design and content strategy can’t be beat!
